insomnia
I began taking melatonin a few days ago after months of insomnia. (I am 73 years old.) The melatonin is terrific. I sleep well and wake up rested. Question: 1. Are there any negative long-term effects; 2. for how long a period of time can I take melatonin?

I am 70 year old female and I have suffered from insomnia on and off since I have gave birth to children 46 years ago. The latest 10 years I am taking medicine which help me, but I would like to cure insomnia with natural product only because I am already taking the medicine for high blood pressure, holesterolia and I have GERD which I balance it with proper food and aritmia sometimes.

I am afraid that because my chronic illnesses I couldn't take Melatonin.I feel quite well. I am active woman, happy grandmother, wife... and I wish to be sure if I may take melatonin at all.

If the answer is yes, please tell me how many grams I may take in the evening, if I can take it every evening and how many time I continue without break and how long it be a break?
Could I take 2,5mg Sanval and Melatonin in the same time on the starting 2-3 weeks?

I am asking for my 74 year old husband who has problem with insomnia the latest 5 years because of difficulty with prostate (PS 1.9) and he takes medication for it . He has also high blood pressure cca 5 years and is also taking the medicine. I have the same questions about Melatonin for him as written above.

Thank You and all the Best

I am taking 5HTP 80mg and THEANINE 50mg between 24h and 2h, for 60 days. Sleep 4-5 hours with interruptions. Next day, feel tired. To compensate the 'sleepless' previous night, I take every other day 3-5 drops of clonazepam to sleep for 6-7 hours. I am 62 years old, and after menopause I got palpitations and insomnia. Questions:
1. Can I continue taking theanine and 5HTP earlier (at 20h) and MELATONIN later (between 24h and 2h)?
2. Does 5HTP worse palpitations?
3. How melatonin affects serotonin?
4. Does Melatonin worse palpitations?
Thank you

I take regularly melatonin against my insomnia and ever since I take it, I'm feeling fine and I sleep well. Sometimes at night I wake up but fall asleep immediately. I wanted to know if that is reducing the positive effect of the melatonin in some way?

Hi, I'm taking night for a month now, but my insomnia didn't improve. Can I take 2 tablets or would that mean an "overdose" on minerals?

Hi,
it's about a month that I take your product Key Melatonin Night. Now I have 3 questions:
For how long can I take melatonin? Is one possible side-effect insomnia?
In the long run: does it reduce the production of testosterone and does it reduce libido?
Thank you for your help.

I am 44 years old and suffer from insomnia and nervousness. I take Key Melatonin Night, and I suppose it has always worked fine. For several days I sleep less. Can it be that the longer days cause this problem? Should I switch to Defender?
Thank you for any advice!

My wife suffers from insomnia and I would like to know if I can still wake her up at night to sleep with me if she takes melatonin. We have not purchased melatonin because of that question.
