I am a 64 yrs old male who has parkinson's (tremors)and insomnia. Is the vegetable melatonin a better product than the synthetic product I have used fr two weeks with limited success (it does not improve my three to four hours sleep I get each night). Can I take it long term? Regards Adrian User: Norton |

Melatonin can cross the encephalic barrier and because of this reason it is an interesting agent for all patients with a degenerative desease such as Parkinson's. Some patients have seen some improvement in tremors. Vegetable melatonin is a natural product. Our melatonin is 100% pure. Our formula contains also other agents which help the body to absorb the melatonin better. In this way it is a better product than some others. You can take melatonin as a long term therapy without any problem. Studies have shown that long term intake doesn't affect the system in any negative way. I advise you to take Keymelatonin Defender at night right before going to sleep. If you still don't sleep more than the 3 or 4 hours you talked about or if you don't sleep better, try to take two tablets. It's possible that your melatonin level is particularly low. Just get back to me if you have any other questions. User: KeyMelatonin.com |
